Vidstra ("we", "us", "our") is operated by AutomateAfrica. These Terms govern your use of the Vidstra website and service at vidstra.app (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Vidstra lets you generate short-form video content: talking-avatar videos from a photo, a script, and a voice (stock or your own cloned voice); plain text-to-video clips; and background/outfit-edited still photos. Generations are billed from a prepaid wallet, topped up via Paystack or Flutterwave, or paid per-video.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Authentication is handled by Clerk; we never see or store your password.
You retain ownership of photos, scripts, and voice samples you upload. By uploading them, you grant us a limited license to process them (via our AI providers, listed in our Privacy Policy) solely to generate the content you requested.
You confirm that you own the rights to, or have explicit permission to use, every photo and voice sample you upload — including your own likeness and voice, or another person's with their clear, informed consent. Voice cloning in particular requires you to confirm this explicitly before we process it. You may not upload a photo or voice sample of someone else without their permission, including public figures, for impersonation, harassment, fraud, or any deceptive purpose.

Wallet top-ups are processed by Paystack or Flutterwave and are non-refundable once credited, except where required by law. If a generation job fails due to an error on our side or our providers' side, the cost is automatically refunded to your wallet. We do not guarantee generation quality or that every request will succeed — provider outages, content-policy rejections (e.g. a voice clone flagged by our voice provider's automated safety filter), and similar failures can occur and are refunded as described above, not separately compensated.
We aim to keep the Service available but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including pricing, for reasons including changes in our own provider costs.
The Service is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
